Composed in 1950 for famous guitarist Andr\u00e9s Segovia, this piece by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968) was inspired by memories and Spanish melodies. Described by its composer as \u201cmelodious and serene\u201d, the piece is divided into four movements, contrasting lively and more peaceful melodies. Almost solely dedicated to the guitar, the pieces by Russian composer and guitarist Koshkin are characterized by lively rhythms, great liveliness and a wide range of colours. Created in Moscow in 2006, the piece presents itself in the traditional four-movement. The first movement is a sonata form with labyrinth-like colour themes.
